The Alpha Metals Founding Story
The story of Alpha Metal Systems began long before we opened our doors in 2018.
In the early 2000s, our founder, Andrew Merrick, recognized a need for seamless rain gutter services in San Diego, laying the foundation for what would become a trusted name in exterior metal systems.
In January 2004, Andrew launched Aquatech with a focus on premium rain gutters. After mastering aluminum and copper gutter fabrication, he moved into other precision metalwork applications.
Andrew acquired Alpha Metal in 2018 and immediately positioned it as San Diego’s premier architectural sheet metal and metal roofing company.
